It is proposed to establish a Scientific Center for the Turkic World in Karabakh University, Chairman of the Board of the Social Research Center Zahid Oruj said at an international conference in Baku dedicated to the presentation of the results of sociological research on the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States, Report informs.
The MP also put forward an initiative to create a Higher Music School of the Turkic World in a place that is a kind of conservatory of the Caucasus.
According to Oruj, in the modern era, defining cooperation in the field of science and education through scientific and sociological research is of great importance for the development of relations between the Turkic states: "Studying interethnic and regional public opinion, conducting a comparative analysis is of particular importance for our academic circles and think tanks. The Turkic Barometer project of the International Turkic Academy is aimed at a comprehensive study of Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan from a scientific point of view. The goal of the project is to prepare a roadmap for the future based on an in-depth analysis of Turkic geography."
