Ombudsman meets Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan

The Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of Azerbaijan, Sabina Aliyeva met with Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Erkan Özoral, Report informs citing the Ombudsman office.

The Ombudsman said that relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey are based on friendship and brotherhood.

She noted that the high-level strategic partnership between the two countries is developing rapidly.

Touching upon the ongoing aggression of Armenia against Azerbaijan, Sabina Aliyeva said the special support of the brother country in supporting the justice of Azerbaijan is commendable.

The meeting also provided information on the multi-line activities of the Ombudsman Institute.

Turkish Ambassador Erkan Özoral expressed his sincere gratitude to the Ombudsman for the reception. He noted that the activities of the Ombudsman Institution in Azerbaijan are highly appreciated.

Özoral called he relations between the two countries are exemplary and stressed that Turkey will always stand by Azerbaijan in the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict within the framework of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
