Ombudsman's representatives met with people repatriated persons from Syria, Report informs, citing the press service of the Ombudsman Office.
On August 3 of this year, 16 more people were brought to Azerbaijan from Syria, 13 of them were children and 3 were women.
Representatives of the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan met with the people placed in the social service institution of the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population and inquired about the state of ensuring their rights.
During the meeting, the psychological condition of women and children was analyzed, and the representatives of the Department were informed about the measures taken in the direction of their social rehabilitation and reintegration.
