Representatives of Azerbaijani youth organizations visit Shusha

On September 13, the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Union of Volunteer Organizations of Azerbaijan organized a visit of the representatives of volunteer organizations to the liberated Shusha city.

Report informs that the purpose of the visit was to have the youth got familiarized with the consequences of the destruction and vandalism committed by Armenia during the occupation, the current situation in the liberated territories, historical and cultural heritage of the city, as well as reconstruction work done in the town.
As part of the visit, representatives of more than 50 organizations visited Jidir Plain, Yukhari and Ashaghi Govhar Agha mosques, Castle walls, Ganja Gate, shot statues of famous figures of Azerbaijani culture Natavan, Bulbul, and Uzeyir Hajibeyli brought from Baku to Shusha upon the instruction of President Ilham Aliyev, other cultural monuments destroyed by Armenians during thirty years, administrative and residential buildings.

The visitors commemorated the heroes of the historic victory gained under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev during the 44-day Patriotic War.

Earlier, the Youth Foundation organized a visit of the country's leading youth and volunteer organizations to Aghdam.
