Record number of NGO observers to monitor Azerbaijan’s parliamentary elections

More than 5,100 observers representing civil society and NGOs have registered to observe the upcoming snap parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan, scheduled for September 1, 2024, which is a record compared to the previous parliamentary elections.

According to Report, this number is seven times higher than in the 2015 parliamentary elections and four times higher than in the 2020 parliamentary elections.
