Press Council of Azerbaijan awards Report's correspondent

The Press Council of Azerbaijan has awarded Mubariz Aslanov, a special correspondent of the Report News Agency, with a diploma.

During the award ceremony held at the council, it was stated that Aslanov is being awarded for his professional representation of Azerbaijani media abroad and for his numerous reports from extreme zones and war zones.

Speaking at the ceremony, the head of the organization, Rashad Majid, highly appreciated Mubariz Aslanov's journalistic activities:

"Gaining such popularity in the field of journalism at a young age is a great success in itself. We hope that the conflict in Ukraine will end soon, peace will come there, and creative articles and reports will be prepared in other directions from now on."

Fuad Huseynaliyev, the Director of Report News Agency, in turn, thanked the Press Council and Rashad Majid for the award:

“The Press Council has always come up with such initiatives for journalists who have distinguished themselves with their work. I believe that such initiatives are a stimulus for them.”

The director touched upon Mubariz Aslanov's activities in Ukraine:

"Although we offered him to return to Baku during the height of the Russian-Ukrainian war, he did not return, remained at his post and continued his work professionally."

Speaking at the event, Mubariz Aslanov thanked for the award and shared his experience of extreme journalism:

"About 200 press representatives from different countries of the world work there. Each journalist has their unique character and point of view. Working there, in such an environment, is a great experience."

The journalist drew attention to the current information war:

"Considering that there is also an information war going on at the moment, in this sense, it is important to promote Azerbaijan at the regional and international journalism level."

After the speeches, the diploma was presented to Mubariz Aslanov.
