Presidential representative says 'captivating projects' are being implemented in Jabrayil, Gubadli, Zangilan

In the districts of Jabrayil, Gubadli, and Zangilan, Azerbaijan is witnessing a remarkable transformation as captivating projects take shape.

According to Report, Vahid Hajiyev, the Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan for these districts, highlighted the progress at the recent Cooperation Forum of Azerbaijani NGOs held in Zangilan.

He noted that the newly constructed Aghali village has been built in accordance with 11 out of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Currently, 871 residents from 175 families have already made Aghali their home, while the construction of Aghali-2 phase, comprising 291 houses, is underway.

"The implementation of ecological projects in the liberated territories will be one of the important steps of Azerbaijan in connection with COP29. Zangilan, the only district in Azerbaijan traversed by four rivers, is making efficient use of its water resources. Four hydroelectric power plants with a total capacity of 42 MW are operational on the Okhchuchay River, contributing to the district's sustainable energy production."

The presidential representative added that the development efforts in Jabrayil, Gubadli, and Zangilan extend beyond the mentioned works, with intriguing projects capturing the attention of investors.
