The line between news and entertainment has blurred, they have become almost identical, Paolo von Schirach, President of the Global Policy Institute, said during a panel meeting held within the Global Media Forum in Shusha.
"People don't know what they're looking at anymore. The fact that the news is increasingly becoming a show, the presentation of the news to people in an entertainment format also causes the spread of misinformation. Technological innovations also play an important role here," he noted.
