President Ilham Aliyev on canceled screening of film about Armenian fascist in Russia

During his visit to Ganja on January 30, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev commented on the canceled demonstration of a film about Armenian fascist Garegin Nzhdeh in Russia.

Report informs that the head of state said:

"I think that the Russian public learned about it, and this shameful action did not take place at the demand of the Russian public. But it is also true that I brought this issue to the political plane for the first time. I raised the issue of Nazis in my speeches. I raised the issue before the international organizations and countries, saying that Nazis cannot be glorified. I raised the issue of executioner Nzhdeh in one of my speeches at the CIS summit. I said that the monument to Nzhdeh in the Armenian capital, Yerevan, is propaganda of fascism. This should be put to an end. This man was a fascist, an executioner."
