President Ilham Aliyev examines construction progress of residential complex for 524 families in Kalbajar

On September 2, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva visited the city of Kalbajar to inspect the construction of a residential complex that will provide housing for 524 families, Report informs via AZERTAC.

The President and First Lady were briefed on the project details. The complex covers a total area of 19.5 hectares. During the first phase, 201 families will be relocated to six newly constructed four-story buildings, each containing 27 apartments. The apartments are divided into 54 two-room, 72 three-room, and 36 four-room units.

The President and First Lady also viewed the completed apartments. In addition, 39 two-story "townhouse" style homes, each with three rooms, have been built within the complex.

In the second phase, 323 more families will be accommodated. For this, 16 additional four-story apartment buildings and 57 more two-story "townhouse" style homes will be constructed.

The complex is kitted out with all necessary facilities for a comfortable lifestyle, including parks, recreation areas, social and service facilities, parking spaces, bicycle paths, children's playgrounds, and sports fields. Landscaping and beautification work is also underway.
