President: Azerbaijan was able to convey realities of Karabakh and Armenian atrocities to world community

"We were able to convey the realities of Karabakh and the Armenian atrocities related to the occupation to the world community. In the first period after the First Karabakh War, we could not achieve this. Therefore, the world had a distorted perception of the war and the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. We eliminated it," President of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev said while addressing the military in Shusha.

"We have been working day and night to inform the world community, to operate successfully in leading international organizations, and to make decisions and resolutions that help us and reflect the truth, and all this work is the legal basis for today's reality. Because today, after we drive the enemy out of our land, no one can criticize us. Because we have conducted a successful operation on our land, we have not violated international law, we have not violated the laws of war. We fought a just war and defeated the enemy on the battlefield," the head of state stressed.
