President: Azerbaijan has young generation who went to death for Karabakh

A young generation grew up who went to death for Karabakh, Motherland, and national dignity, President Ilham Aliyev said at the Youth Forum dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Youth Day of Azerbaijan, Report informs.

"In Azerbaijan, people under the age of 29 are considered young. So, the most senior young man today was 11 years old when I was elected President for the first time. That is the reality. I have tried to do more to educate young people during my tenure. I am pleased and proud that most of those who led the way for the nation and land were young people. This is a source of pride for each of us. The young people, who did not see Karabakh and that bitter history, died for Karabakh, the Motherland, and national dignity and became martyrs and veterans," the head of state said.
