PACE stresses importance of providing mine maps to Azerbaijan

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) adopted a resolution "Humanitarian consequences of the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan" at the autumn session today, Report informs.

The resolution stipulates that those killed, missing, refugees, internally displaced persons, cultural heritage damage, mines during the first Karabakh war in 1991-1994 and the second 44-day Karabakh war in 2020. areas and other issues.

Speaking during the resolution discussion, PACE members stressed the importance of providing mine maps to Azerbaijan to prevent further human losses.

The international community, especially the Council of Europe, has been called to assist both countries.
