Over 247,000 registered unemployed in Azerbaijan over 8 months

As of September 1, 2026, the number of unemployed individuals registered with local offices of the State Employment Agency in Azerbaijan reached 247,700.

According to Report, citing the country's State Statistical Committee, 53.1% of those registered were women.

The average monthly unemployment insurance payment amounted to 478.7 manats ($281.59).
