Observations since the morning suggest that Azerbaijan's snap parliamentary elections are being conducted transparently, Mohammad Sijani Ali Asghar, Deputy Secretary General of the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), told Report.
Asghar noted that the conditions at the polling stations were organized at the necessary level. "In the observations we made at about five polling stations since the voting process began, I did not encounter any difficulties. I hope that all voters will exercise their right to vote until the process is over," he said.
The OIC representative emphasized that he has monitored the election process organized in Azerbaijan many times. "I have always witnessed that the process was conducted transparently. I have never encountered a problem," he added.
Asghar noted that a press conference will be held tomorrow regarding the results of the observation.
