Dmitry Zhuk, an international observer from the CIS Parliamentary Assembly and a member of the Belarus Parliament, has stated that observers from the organization did not record any violations during the voting process in Azerbaijan's snap parliamentary elections.
In a statement to Report, Zhuk said, "This is the fifth polling station we have visited today. I can say that the [parliamentary election] campaign is very well-organized, and the polling stations are equipped with everything necessary. Moreover, observers are present at all stations. Thus, all conditions have been created for citizens to come and elect their candidate. It is evident that a great deal of organizational work has been done by the Central Election Commission."
According to Zhuk, "so far, we have not noted any violations."
