President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed an order on appointment of Emin Salhab Mammadov as the chairman of Azerkhalcha OJSC, Report informs.
Emin Mammadov was awarded the title of Honored Art Worker in 2012 upon the President’s order.
Last year, he was awarded the Honorary Certificate of the Ministry of Culture for his merits in the promotion and development of Azerbaijani culture.
Mammadov has led numerous exhibitions in Azerbaijan and some European countries.
According to the order of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic dated May 6, 2019, Emin Mammadov was awarded the “Taraggi” medal for his services in the public and cultural life of Azerbaijan.
In 2020, he was elected as an honorary member of the Russian Academy of Arts.
The former Chairman of Azerkhalcha OJSC was Vidadi Muradov, who was arrested on January 9, 2021. He is charged with Article #179.4 and 308.2 of the Criminal Code.
