"The views expressed by President Ilham Aliyev at the international conference South Caucasus: Development and Cooperation at ADA University were multifaceted. Discussions were held on the formation of governance in our country, the development of the regions, the reconstruction and restoration of the liberated territories, as well as the steps taken by our government to normalize relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan," MP Javid Osmanov told Report.
He stressed that the President once again answered more than 20 questions in three hours, demonstrating excellent diplomatic skills:
"The answers were substantial and based on facts. At the same time, it was essential to bring the realities of Azerbaijan to the attention of experts from leading think tanks in order to convey them to the world community. They also spoke about the beginning of a new era in the South Caucasus, the acceptance of new realities. According to the President, the main issue now is the establishment of peace in the South Caucasus. Armenia must take adequate steps to restore peace; if the proposals are implemented, mutual cooperation will be formed in the region, with only development and progress. It will also bring unexpected benefits to Armenia."
