Moscow hosts 1st Russia-Azerbaijan Science and Education Forum

The 1st Russia-Azerbaijan Science and Education Forum has kicked off in Moscow, Report informs.

Russian Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov, Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Science and Education Firudin Gurbanov, and other officials are participating in the forum, which is being held at the Intellectual Center of Moscow State University - Fundamental Library.

Over 70 representatives from higher education institutions in both countries attended the forum.

Subsequently, sessions and expert meetings were conducted as part of the forum. Discussions focused on fostering direct relationships between higher education and scientific institutions in Azerbaijan and Russia, identifying key areas for scientific cooperation, exploring collaboration opportunities between educational institutions and the private sector, and addressing other pertinent issues.

Additionally, a meeting of the Russian-Azerbaijan Association of Higher Education Institutions took place during the forum.

Deputy Minister Firudin Gurbanov also met with Russian Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education Konstantin Mogilevsky and Deputy Minister of Education Andrey Andrey Korneev to discuss the current state and future prospects of bilateral cooperation.
