Khankandi constituency still leading in voter turnout in Azerbaijan's elections

According to the latest reports as of 15:00 (GMT+4), the constituency with the highest voter turnout in Azerbaijan's ongoing elections is the 122nd Khankandi Constituency, Report informs.

A remarkable 42.7 percent of eligible voters (2,834 individuals) have already exercised their right to vote in this constituency.

On the other hand, the constituency with the lowest voter turnout so far is the 54th Mingachevir Constituency, where only 12.8 percent of voters (6,447 individuals) have cast their ballots.

A total of 990 candidates are competing for 125 parliamentary seats in this election.

Azerbaijan has an electorate of 6,421,960 voters. Voting is being conducted at 6,478 polling stations across 125 constituencies, with 54 of these stations located in liberated territories.

Polling stations opened at 08:00 (GMT+4) and will remain open until 19:00.
