Imarat Complex to be restored in Aghdam with financial support of Karabakh Revival Fund

As a result of the sale of 22 works within the Colors of Karabakh project, about 85,000 manats ($50,000) were donated to the Karabakh Revival Fund, Rahman Hajiyev, Chairman of the Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund, told reporters at the presentation ceremony of the project, Report informs.

According to him, these funds will be used for the Imarat Complex, which will restored in Karabakh, Aghdam disctrict, at the order of President Ilham Aliyev, the order of the Ministry of Culture, and with the financial support of the Karabakh Revival Fund.

Hajiyev added that the main goal of the Colors of Karabakh project is the promotion of the rich culture of Karabakh, the heritage of the Azerbaijani people in these lands, and the promotion of the philanthropic tradition:

"The young artists created 23 works of art, including 19 paintings and 4 sculptures, within the framework of the project. These works were put up for sale on the special website of the project. To get them, it was enough to donate to the Karabakh Revival Fund. The mentioned 22 works have already been sold, and therefore the Fund has already received about 85,000 manat donations. This project was a very good way to actualize the Karabakh issue in the society. Therefore, I would like to thank everyone who supported the project and the donors who bought the works."
