Masim Mammadov, the special representative of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in the Lachin district, has called on companies to maintain the cleanliness of the city and transport waste, Report informs.
Speaking at the meeting of the Working Group on Environmental Issues, Mammadov noted that some companies do not dispose of waste accordingly after construction work.
The presidential representative said that Lachin has become one of the most beautiful places in Azerbaijan today:
"Lachin is rich in water and forest resources. Work can be done to explore the Istisu mineral deposit and geological exploration can be organized in the mining industry. This will also be beneficial in terms of employment in Lachin."
