Head of Baku TV: Although military phase of war ended, information war is not over yet

Although the military phase of the war has ended, the information war involving major forces is not over yet, Ramin Jafarov, director of Baku TV, said at a conference titled "The Factor of Victorious Leader: Our Country's Growing International Influence and New Realities" held in Baku, Report informs.

Jafarov also spoke about the activities carried out by Baku TV in this regard:

"We contribute to the information war by preparing video materials in five languages. However, President Ilham Aliyev has been a great support to media representatives through his interviews with international media and the forum held in Shusha.

Inspired by the President's six-hour non-stop response to journalists in different languages at the Shusha global media forum, we decided to not only transmit information in Azerbaijani to world Azerbaijanis but also continue our struggle by preparing video materials in English, Russian, French, and Armenian."

The head of Baku TV emphasized that the work doesn't end with broadcasting in foreign languages, and digital journalism has already entered social life:

"We used to see live broadcasting only on traditional television, now live streams can be accessed at any time on social networks. In such cases, it's possible to encounter fake news. For this reason, we opened a digital media school two years ago. Its students later join us and contribute to our struggle.

Additionally, our activities include fighting against media organizations funded by Western countries. We try to verify all information and deliver it transparently to viewers. The head of state leads the biggest struggle in this regard and tries to ensure that information about our country is learned first-hand. This is crucial in the fight against unverified information."
