Group of residents visit Alley of Martyrs in Azerbaijan's Kalbajar

A group of residents of Azerbaijan's Kalbajar district has visited the Alley of Martyrs as part of a trip to their native lands.

According to Report's employee sent to Kalbajar, they laid wreaths and flowers at the graves of the heroes who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of the motherland.

One of the residents of Kalbajar, Bilal Garashov, said that it was thanks to the glorious Azerbaijani sons that after 30 years they could visit their native lands: “For 44 days, the victorious Azerbaijani army showed its strength to the whole world. Our army, led by Supreme Commander Ilham Aliyev, defeated the enemy. It was thanks to our martyrs, veterans, participants in the Patriotic War that the 30-year separation from our homeland came to an end, and now we walk everywhere with our heads held high."
