The Western Azerbaijan Community and the Center for Analysis of International Relations have released a groundbreaking report in English titled "The Return of Azerbaijani Refugees to Armenia: A History of Deportation and Potential Policies". This marks the first comprehensive report of its kind, delving into the complex history and potential solutions surrounding the return of Azerbaijani refugees to Armenia, according to Report.
During the document's presentation ceremony, Farid Shafiyev, Chairman of the Center's Board, emphasized the significance of this collaborative effort with students from ADA University.
"The report contains historical facts, information about the origins of the conflict, and addresses the accusations of Azerbaijan harboring territorial claims against Armenia," Shafiyev stated.
"However, Azerbaijan is a proponent of peace and holds no territorial ambitions towards Armenia. The issue of refugee return is already being discussed within the framework of the ongoing peace process," he said.
