Food cargo sent from Baku for Karabakh Armenians waiting on Aghdam-Khankandi road for 21 days

Two trucks laden with 40 tons of flour sent from Baku by the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society (AzRCS) to meet the needs of Armenians living in Karabakh have been waiting on the Aghdam-Khankandi road for already 21 days, Report informs.

The food convoy is near the post of the Russian peacekeepers, temporarily stationed in the Azerbaijani territory.

Employees and volunteers of the AzRCS spent the night in the tents set up in the area.

The representatives of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society in the territory presented the quality certificate of the cargo to the Russian peacekeeping contingent.

Talks are underway with the peacekeepers on the supply of food to the residents of Armenian origin of Karabakh of Azerbaijan.

The Society representatives said they would stay in the area unless the food cargo is delivered to the Armenian residents of Karabakh region of Azerbaijan.
