In line with President Ilham Aliyev's instructions and based on the First State Program for the Great Return to the liberated territories, the first convoy of families temporarily settled in dormitories, sanatoriums, pioneer camps, unfinished buildings, and administrative buildings in various areas of the republic has departed from the Garadagh district of Baku to the rebuilt city of Jabrayil.
Report informs that initially 36 families - 117 people - have been relocated to the city of Jabrayil.
The residents of Jabrayil returning to their native land expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for the comprehensive state care they received. They also expressed their gratitude to the valiant Azerbaijani Army, heroic soldiers and officers who liberated the lands from occupation and wished Allah's mercy on the martyrs who gave their lives in this cause and patience for their families.
