Fiji observer: Young people's votes vital in parliamentary elections

So far, the NAM Youth Observer Mission has visited two polling stations and is impressed by the active participation of young people in the parliamentary elections, Ioane Tupou Nawaikula from Fiji told Report, sharing his impressions during the observation of the snap parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan.

The votes of young people are very important, he said, noting that it is very interesting to be there, at the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan.

"As I mentioned earlier, I do not know exactly what the voting rules are here and I cannot compare it with what they have in Fiji, in my country," he said, adding that so far his observations show that voters come and are given the opportunity to vote.

"They come, show their IDs, sign, get their ballots, come to the booths, and then drop the completed ballots into the ballot box. That is, everything is going smoothly,” he added.
