Erdoğan: We will closely monitor implementation of agreements

"Thirty years ago, the massacres committed during the occupation of the Nagorno-Karabakh region and surrounding regions of Azerbaijan touched our hearts together with our Azerbaijani brothers."

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said at the 7th congress of the ruling Justice and Development Party on March 24, Report informs.

"Although the three countries undertook to resolve the conflict under the guise of co-chairing the OSCE Minsk Group, they have done nothing but complicate the situation for 30 years. During this period, our Azerbaijani brothers have always made efforts to resolve the conflict through dialogue and mutual understanding. Nevertheless, the Armenian side has continued provocations from time to time, closing the dialog.

In the last months of last year, the Armenian army attacked Azerbaijan again. In this case, as Turkey, we stood by our Azerbaijani brothers with all our opportunities. Turkey's support, heroism, and struggle of the Azerbaijani army ended this filthy occupation. "We will continue to closely monitor the process to ensure that this stage, which further strengthens the brotherhood of Turkey and Azerbaijan, is completed in the form of signed agreements," he said.
