According to observers' assessment, the election process fully complies with the legislation, Jalil Khalilov, Chairman of the Organization of War, Labor and Armed Forces Veterans of Azerbaijan, who serves as an observer at polling stations, told Report.
Khalilov noted that as an observer of the Central Election Commission, he monitored the election process at various stations:
"So far, I have visited seven polling stations, and the process continues normally everywhere. People are actively engaging in the elections, casting their votes for candidates they know and deem fit for municipal duties. Pre-election meetings were held with candidates, and voters were informed about their fields of activity and the organizations they represent."
The chairman emphasized that no incidents or law violations have been recorded so far.
He also discussed the at-home voting process, highlighting that it is primarily utilized by elderly and mobility-impaired individuals.
"These applications are accepted by precinct chairpersons, and appropriate measures are taken. Conditions have also been created for voting in hospitals and other special places," Khalilov added.
