"Today, we are here to commemorate the Khojaly martyrs and share the sorrow of our brothers," Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Cahit Bagci, told journalists.
According to him, the pain of the massacre is still fresh and in hearts: "Our 631 brothers were brutally killed in Khojaly. The fate of about 4,000 people is still unknown. The world was deaf and blind to these massacres. International law did not work. The UN resolutions were not implemented. However, Azerbaijan won with the 44-day war."
The ambassador noted that today, Turkish-Azerbaijani relations are at an advanced level: "We became one heart with Azerbaijan, saying that two states and one nation. We must always remember Khojaly and never forget."
