Cabinet of Ministers adopts decision on academic year

The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to take some measures to eliminate the negative impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic on the educational process in Azerbaijan.

Report informs, Prime Minister Ali Asadov has signed a decree in this regard.

Notably, Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers ordered the suspension of the teaching and learning process, and all related activities at educational institutions on March 3.

Such a step was taken as part of efforts to curb the spread of infectious diseases and increase the effectiveness of the appropriate medical, preventive, disinfectant, and other measures in this direction in all educational institutions across the country.

During the specified period, the Ministry of Education and the relevant executive authorities continued the preventive and disinfecting measures in all educational institutions under their jurisdiction.
