Baku prepares for spectacular Victory Day concert and fireworks display

The city of Baku is gearing up for a grand celebration on November 8, as Azerbaijan commemorates Victory Day. The Seaside National Park will be the venue for a festive concert and a dazzling fireworks display.

According to Report, preparations are in full swing, with a stage being set up near the iconic Clock Tower on the boulevard.

Following the musical extravaganza, the night sky will be illuminated by a breathtaking fireworks display, symbolizing the bright future that lies ahead for the victorious nation.

Victory Day was established on December 3, 2020, by the order of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, President Ilham Aliyev. The date of November 8 was chosen to commemorate the liberation of the historically significant city of Shusha from Armenian occupation.

This day has become a testament to the unwavering courage and resilience of the Azerbaijani people, who fought valiantly to restore justice and reclaim their rightful territories after nearly three decades of occupation.
