As part of the Baku Climate Action Week, an ideation titled "Bridging the Gap - Youth and Green Jobs Market" is being held to engage the younger generation in green activities, Report informs.
The event, taking place at SOCAR's Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS), will continue until October 4. Elmar Gasimov, Rector of Baku Higher Oil School, and Leyla Seyidzada, Innovation Consultant at the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), are participating in the ideation.
A total of 15 teams will compete in the event. This ideation, which encourages youth to embrace the green economy, will serve as an excellent platform for young people to showcase their innovative ideas and solutions.
The event is expected to support young people in taking a more active role in combating climate change and engaging in green job opportunities.
