An international conference entitled "Human Rights - 75. Baku Conference: Promoting Universality and Indivisibility to Address Global and National Challenges," dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, is being held under the joint organization of the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of Azerbaijan, the UN office in Azerbaijan, and the Azerbaijani Bar Association, Report informs.
The meeting was attended by Ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva, Resident Coordinator of the UN in Azerbaijan, Vladanka Andreeva, Chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee for Human Rights, Zahid Oruj, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yalchin Rafiyev, Senior Human Rights Adviser for the South Caucasus, OHCHR, Vladimir Shkolnikov, Chairman of the Bar Association Anar Baghirov, and other persons.
