Azerbaijani President: "We have no eyes on other people's land, but we do not want to give our land to anyone"

"We have driven the enemy out of our land in just 44 days. Armenia knelt down before us, bowed its head, and it was forced to sign an act of capitulation, asked for mercy, and today it is in the same situation. Today, there left no door to knock at to complain that Azerbaijan threatens us, Azerbaijan wants to strangle us here," President Ilham Aliyev told the V Congress of World Azerbaijanis.

The president further said: “We have fulfilled our duty. We have no eyes on the lands of other states and never had. However, we won’t give our land to anyone, and the Second Karabakh War has proved it once again.”

The president stressed that the hero, who put an end to the conflict, is the Azerbaijani soldier.

"The last events of the war occurred here - in Shusha. Climbing the steep cliffs, our heroic soldiers and officers almost defeated the Armenian army, armed with artillery, tanks and artillery here," Ilham Aliyev said.
