Azerbaijani PM meets with Chairman of Türkiye’s Constitutional Court

Azerbaijan's Prime Minister Ali Asadov has met with the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Türkiye Kadir Ozkaya, Report informs, citing Azerbaijan’s Cabinet of Ministers.

During the meeting, the parties expressed satisfaction with the continuous development of relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in all fields, including political, trade-economic, investment, energy, transport-transit, and others.

At the same time, they appreciated the long-term fruitful partnership in the judicial field.

The sides also noted the importance of the efforts of the presidents of Azerbaijan and Türkiye in increasing the international reputation of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) and turning it into a regional power center.

They further emphasized the importance of cooperation between the constitutional courts of the two countries both in a bilateral format and within the framework of international organizations, especially within the Conference of Constitutional Jurisdictions of the Turkic World.

At the meeting, the parties discussed the development prospects of Azerbaijan-Türkiye mutually beneficial cooperation in various directions, including in the judicial and legal fields.

Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Azerbaijan Farhad Abdullayev also participated in the meeting.
