Azerbaijani emergencies minister talks on condition of injured after AZAL plane crash

"We visited the scene of the incident and the wounded in the hospital. Except for three people in intensive care, the condition of the others is good," Azerbaijan's Minister of Emergency Situations Kamaladdin Heydarov said upon his return to Baku, Report informs.

The minister noted that the deceased will be transported to Azerbaijan after their identities are established.

"The injured could be transported to the country now. However, based on doctors' recommendations, in the coming days, possibly tomorrow or the day after, those with minor injuries will be brought home taking into account their psychological condition," added Heydarov.

Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev and Minister of Emergency Situations Kamaladdin Heydarov visited Azerbaijani citizens who survived the plane crash in Kazakhstan. The heads of departments inquired about the health condition of the wounded who are receiving treatment in Aktau hospitals.

During conversations with the victims, the ministers clarified the circumstances of the emergency situation on board the aircraft and possible causes of the crash.
