Azerbaijan experienced a decrease in both birth and death rates in the first seven months of 2024, Report informs, the country’s State Statistical Committee.
According to the obtained data, 58,401 births were recorded in the country, a drop from 11.0 to 9.8 per 1,000 people compared to the same period last year.
Similarly, 35,289 deaths were recorded, with the death rate falling from 6.0 to 5.9 per 1,000 people.
