State and government officials visited the Alley of Honors to commemorate National Leader Heydar Aliyev, as December 12 marks the day of remembrance for the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Report informs via AZERTAC.
Among those attending the commemorative ceremony were Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova, Head of the Presidential Administration Samir Nuriyev, other state and government officials, military servicemen, law enforcement officers, and representatives of the diplomatic corps. They laid flowers at the National Leader’s grave.
Flowers were also placed at the grave of the National Leader’s wife, renowned ophthalmologist and academician Zarifa Aliyeva.
