Azerbaijan relocates over 2,000 families to liberated territories

A total of 2,036 families (7,901 individuals) have been resettled in Azerbaijan's liberated territories, according to Report, which cites the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons.

The resettlement process has breathed new life into regions that suffered under Armenian occupation for nearly three decades. Fuzuli,has welcomed 822 families (3,132 people), while Shusha is now home to 147 families (570 people) and Lachin has seen 552 families (2,031 people) return.

Smaller villages are also experiencing a renaissance. Talish now houses 20 families (90 people). Aghali is a symbol of hope for 175 families (871 people). Sus and Zabukh are now home to 59 families (215 people) and 217 families (823 people), respectively.
