The number of marriages and divorces registered in Azerbaijan in the first six months of this year has been announced.
According to the State Statistics Committee, during the first six months of 2021, 23,231 marriages and 8,168 divorces were recorded by the registration offices, and the number of marriages per 1,000 population increased from 3.6 to 4.7 compared to the corresponding period of 2020. The number of divorces rose from 1.4 to 1.6.
