Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan have reached an agreement on cooperation between the brain centers of the two countries, Report informs.
The agreement was reached during the visit of Farid Shafiyev, Chairman of the Management Board of the Center for the Analysis of International Relations (Air Center) to Bishkek.
Sanjar Mukanbetov, director of the National Institute of Strategic Initiatives under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, informed the guest about the activity of the institute and said that restructuring has been carried out from an organizational point of view recently.
During the meeting, the sides discussed various aspects of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan and exchanged views regarding the further development of relations.
They further touched upon the possible effects of the current geopolitical situation in both countries, the role that regional transport projects, including the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars and China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway projects, which will play in the development of transport links between the two countries and, consequently, trade and economic relations.
Moreover, an agreement was reached between the two organizations to continue academic discussions, prepare joint scientific publications and organize events in the future.
