As Azerbaijan holds its snap parliamentary elections, two international and one local organization are conducting exit polls across various polling stations in the country, Report informs.
The organizations carrying out the exit polls are Social Research Center, the Citizens’ Labor Rights Protection League in collaboration with the US-based ORACLE ADVISORY GROUP, and the Taraqqi Social Research Public Union in partnership with the Italian research company SWG S.P.A.
A total of 990 candidates are competing for 125 parliamentary seats in this election. Azerbaijan has an electorate of 6,421,960 voters. Voting is being conducted at 6,478 polling stations across 125 constituencies, with 54 of these stations located in liberated territories.
Polling stations opened at 08:00 (GMT+4) and will remain open until 19:00.
