Azerbaijan, Croatia mull cooperation in field of demining

On November 6, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenkovic, Report informs, citing the Cabinet of Ministers.

They emphasized that high-level contacts and mutual visits play an important role in the development of relations between the two countries.

Thus Azerbaijan-Croatia relations are developing successfully in many fields, and the two countries cooperate closely within the framework of international organizations.

Satisfaction with the growth dynamics of cooperation in the economic and commercial sphere was expressed, it was emphasized that the volume of trade turnover increased by 28% last year.

The parties noted that there are good opportunities for further development of cooperation in the field of investment.

During the meeting, issues of cooperation in the field of mine clearance were discussed. Emphasizing that large-scale demining operations are currently being carried out by the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA), it was noted that there is cooperation with Croatia in this field.
