Authorized representatives of 10 parties registered in preparation for parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan

The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Azerbaijan has registered authorized representatives of seven more political parties for the upcoming elections to the Milli Majlis, CEC Secretary Arifa Mukhtarova said at today's CEC meeting, Report informs.

According to Mukhtarova, representatives of the New Azerbaijan Party (NAP), Azerbaijan Hope Party, Great Order Party, Democratic Reform Party, Motherland Party, Musavat Party and Classical Popular Front Party are registered.

Previously, authorized representatives of the Republican Alternative Party (REAL), the White Party and the Civil Solidarity Party were registered.

On June 28, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree dissolving the Milli Majlis of the 6th convocation and calling early parliamentary elections. According to the order of the head of state, elections will be held on September 1, 2024.
