Assistant to President: Five years ago travel from Aghdam to Baku might have been dismissed as dream

Five years ago travel from Aghdam to Baku by high-speed train might have been dismissed as a dream, Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to President and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, said in a post on X, according to Report.

"Had I told someone five years ago that we would one day travel from Aghdam to Baku by high-speed train, it might have been dismissed as a dream, a fantasy—or even a legend. Yet today, that vision has become a reality. Together with the members of Coordination Headquarters for the Restoration and Reconstruction of the Liberated Territories, we are returning to the capital aboard the newly inaugurated Aghdam–Baku high-speed train—a powerful symbol of revival and progress across our liberated lands," Hajiyev said.
