87 people registered their candidacy for elections in Azerbaijan

Candidacies of 87 people for the upcoming snap parlimentary elections in Azerbaijan have registered, the Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Mazahir Panahov said today at a CEC meeting, Report informs.

According to Panahov, 1,255 people applied to be candidates for the elections to be held on September 1: "...1,092 people have been given signature sheets."
