76% of Azerbaijani citizens feel completely safe in public places

The Center for Social Research has conducted a survey among Azerbaijani citizens regarding personal security issues, Report informs.

Some 76% of the citizens surveyed said that they feel completely safe in public places, and 17.7% feel relatively safe.

Some 3.7% of respondents said they felt relatively unsafe in public places, while 2.1% said they felt completely unsafe. Some 0.5% of respondents found it difficult to answer the question.

The survey was conducted April 1-6. It was attended by 384 respondents over 18 years of age. During the survey, the principles of voluntary participation and anonymity were observed.

The survey was conducted in the form of a telephone interview and covered 12 economic regions.
