50 families to be relocated to Khojaly in coming days, official says

50 families are expected to be relocated to Khojaly in the near future, Ibrahim Mirzayev, head of the International Cooperation and Public Relations Department of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons of the Republic of Azerbaijan, said this in response to the inquiry of Report.

According to him, large-scale reconstruction work is being carried out in the liberated territories, first of all, modern infrastructure is being formed, necessary conditions for sustainable settlement and economic reintegration are being created.

"The city of Khojaly is being reconstructed within the framework of the implementation of the first State Program on the Great Return. It is planned to move 50 families to restored and rebuilt private houses in the city in the near future," Mirzayev noted.
